WRITING ASSESSMENT 1 – Level 104
Writing Assessment 1 will consist of the following tasks:
- Use of linking words / relative pronouns (p. 107 & 111)
before / as soon as / while / during /when / but / however /so
who / which / that / where / whose
- Paragraph –
Students write about a given topic similar to what they’ve done in the book.
Make sure that students know
- basic paragraph format (indentation, sentences written together in a paragraph, not on separate lines)
- how to write a clear topic sentence
- how to write a concluding sentence
- how to use linking works to make paragraphs cohesive
